Puddles Pity Party is an American musical band fronted by Michael Geier (born March 12, 1964) as Puddles the Clown. The band includes Geier's wife Shannon Newton as the chimp-girl Monkey Zuma. The Puddles character was created in 1999 for the all-clown band called Greasepaint out of Atlanta. Puddles Pity Party is best known for appearing in several viral videos on YouTube since 2013, most notably with Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox. As Puddles, Geier is noted for his distinctive whiteface clown costume as well as his unusually tall height of . Puddles has collaborated with Bradlee on YouTube several times since.
